4. Salesforce Solution Architect $175,000

Salesforce Solution Architects are involved in the process of solutioning and architecting Salesforce projects. They are responsible for driving the solution to success by selecting the right product features that maximize the business value.

While a functional consultant may handle requirements gathering and solution creation for smaller projects, solution architects are usually engaged with more complex projects. 2. MuleSoft Architect | $188,500

MuleSoft, acquired by Salesforce back in 2018, is a powerful platform that provides the tools to automate various processes. It has proven to be highly successful in helping businesses facilitate their digital transformation, and though it is a specialized and costly product, the rewards are with it.

The senior positions can expect $188,500 per year, and junior roles can earn around $162,000.

Salesforce Technical Architects work on large-scale implementations or projects. They have the ability to oversee any element of a Salesforce implementation – understanding code, integrations, and declarative solutions, as well as other systems such as AWS, CTI systems, and BI tools.

The annual salary for a Salesforce Technical Architect averages around $200,000. It’s important to note that the mentioned salary does not pertain to Certified Technical Architects, who can demand even higher compensation.

Bonus: VP Sales | $215,000

Hold on to your seat because there’s one position that trumps an even higher salary than a Salesforce Technical Architect – and that’s a Sales Director or Vice President of Sales.

You’ll find these roles at Salesforce, AppExchange partners, or Salesforce Consultancies. Such positions often make up their pay with a combination of 50% base salary and 50% performance-based commission.

These professionals are responsible for supervising and guiding sales teams or departments, ensuring that they achieve or exceed the sales revenue targets of the companies they work for. While the role of vice president is significantly different from the other technical roles mentioned earlier, pursuing a career in sales could be a great path if you aspire to earn a substantial income. In fact, you could potentially make around $215,000 per year!

Summary

There’s no doubt that Salesforce jobs can guarantee remarkable salaries and open doors to financial success. And most importantly, the Salesforce ecosystem has something for everyone — whether you aspire to be a Technical Consultant, a MuleSoft Architect, or a Development Manager.

The highest paying Salesforce jobs offer a range of responsibilities and require expertise, all while offering salaries that reflect the level of experience and impact it brings to the table. So, if you’re looking to boost your career and enjoy the financial reward of working with Salesforce explore these high paying jobs!

Hi Chandi, most of these jobs are pretty senior so some will be achieved by promotion, or potentially a job change, and certifications will most definitely help.

Hi Gokul, great questions. Certifications are a great way to prove to potential employers that you know what you are talking about, how unfortunately experience is needed in order to land one of these jobs. Of course there are entry level positions around, so if you already have certs, and some volunteering experience, then this is a great way to get into the market. Hi Shubham, you are well on your way to becoming anything you want to be if you are learning through Trailhead. Many Salesforce Developers starting from non-coding backgrounds. But it's not an easy skill to learn, and does require many hours of learning and practicing. That being said, there are many resources online for you to get started. Hi guys. For a person starting out as an entry level, what certificate should be the focus? I have a recruiter that reached out to teach Admin and developer training in order to get a role on a project. I would like to continue educating and learning more in the eco system. Also is it wise to select a certain domain over another as a beginner ? As far as prioritizing for better understanding ?

Hi Lalit, The best certificate to start off with is your Salesforce Admin certificate, this provides you with the best foundational knowledge on the Salesforce platform. The job your recruiter offered you definitely sounds interesting. I would also recommend checking out this article - https://www.salesforceben.com/ultimate-guide-to-getting-a-salesforce-job/
